I got into sewing swimwear at age 18. I was tired of getting excited about a cute swimsuit only to find that it cost $100 or more. I knew there had to be a better way, and there was!
Through an astonishing amount of trial and error, I started sewing swimwear for myself and even started a business. On a whim one day, I posted a YouTube tutorial showing how I made my swimwear. I couldn’t believe the response, so I kept making more tutorials. My following grew and Edgewater Avenue was officially born.
Edgewater Avenue is my full-time job. I absolutely love working with the huge community of people who enjoy sewing swimwear! The best part of my job is watching so many of my customers use my patterns to start their own successful swimwear businesses.
So whether you’ve never used a sewing machine in your life or you’re a seasoned pro, I invite you try out some Edgewater patterns. Don’t be surprised when you get hooked on sewing swimwear!
