This was my first swimsuit I’ve made . The instructions and the video are great. It was pretty easy to do. The elastic was easier than I thought it would be even though I didn’t have an elastic, but but I was surprised well it turned out.

Loved making this swimsuit! I’m 5’7 with a longish torso and one pieces neverrrrrrr fit right. This one was easy to add length too and the construction was so easy. Almost too easy. I didn’t have 1/4 inch swim elastic so I used 1/2 and it was fine. Yay! Time to go swimming!

Liked the pattern! I adjusted some measurements to fit my body perfectly, which worked well. I made the pattern with lycra tule on the inside, which I would not recommend since this thin fabric has more stretch than the normal lycra and was hard to sew with.
Another Amazing pattern from Edgewater. If you want to make a lower back I recommend and a cris-cross tie otherwise I found that the straps would fall off (shown in the picture above)
I bought this pattern because it looked more modern than other commercial patterns. I would love to say that I liked it, but I'm pretty disappointed. As I'm a petite pear-shape, I knew I would have to adjust the pattern to my mensurations. Following the chart, I picked up a L for the bottom and a M for the top. I made a mockup. Based on the mockup results, I adjusted (reduced) the torso length and the straps length. I also adjusted the bottom (increased to XL) and the top (increased to L) - while keeping the new torso length. The result looks nice but the swimsuit is still too tight for me. This pattern will eventually work, but it will take several iterations. Pros: -Modern look. -Video tutorial. Cons: -Instructions are easy to follow IF you already have experience sewing swimsuits. -You need to have experience calculating the elastic length and sewing the elastic properly, as this is not explained. -No instructions are provided on how to adjust the pattern, especially torso length and gusset length. You need to have experience in modifying patterns. I might give a second chance to this pattern one day, but for now, I will stick to more professional brands.

This was my first swimsuit and my first serious stretch fabric, and i need more practice. This pattern includes a 1/4” seam allowance, which i think is much too narrow. My sewing machine kept eatingvthe fabric. Even with lowered pressure. Also, the instructions have not been updated to conform to the owners new best practices (in aeparate video not referenced in thebb CB pattern), so it takes a lot of work to go back and forth between old instructions and new tips. I also had trouble getting the hang of my sergers elastic foot. (I think ive got it now). The new advice to leave open the crotch area to pull through is very unclear and was the cause of my biggest mistake. Also inserting the front inside the back was much harder than the instructions imply. No real tips for making this easy were given. Overall, as an intermediate sewist, i found this “beginner” suit pattern to be a big challenge. Im treating this first wffort like a first pancake. Throwing it out and trying again. The pattern refers you to a facebook group for tips, but i dont use or support facebook so cannot comment on that group. Overall a frustrating experience, mostly caused by my inexperience this kind of fabric, use of elastic, type of construction etc. the failure to update the printed instructions with new tips seems unprofessional and was disappointing.

Great quality pattern and instructions. I made an xxl and was a bit disappointed with the scaling of the pattern- the width was fine but the suit was too long. I ended up going back and shortening the sleeve/straps about 3 inches each, which made the suit fit, but the neckline is much higher than I originally wanted.

I loved this one piece swimwear! This is a reversible piece size M. Only thing I noticed is with the length of the shoulders, I had to sew them many centimeters shorter so they wouldn’t fall off easily. I’m 1.63m tall, it would be very helpful to have a guide for tallness on one pieces :) I’m very happy with the result tough. Greetings from Guadalajara! 🇲🇽

Poppy is my 1st one-piece. Good for a starter. I attempted to insert foam pads for boobs. Turned out ok, not perfect. Will try again tho!

Love the pattern, but definitely not made for shorter girls as stated in the description. I’m 5”1 and usually wear a size S so I made a small but it was way too long I had to alter so that the width measurements were a S and the length measurements were XS. It fit perfectly after doing this

I love this pattern! I modified it to have skinny straps. One of the things I love about it is that it’s very flattering and can be modified in many ways to make different suits
My first one piece project! I modified it slightly to have sleeves (reversible sleeves was not easy!) but the cut and shape of the pattern was very flattering and cute, and the videos are so nicely done and easy to follow!
