I like this pattern very much, but for me it has a little bit too much coverage on the back, so I will try to hack it making the back as the front.
Love these! I love the combo of enclosed and traditional fold over and the fit is so cute. I paired the front with the cheeky ranger back. I just had to shorten and narrow the front crotch a bit.
Made the none reversible version of the Blake bottoms. Lined the swim fabric with swim mesh instead of using regular swim fabric for the lining. Found the pattern easy to follow. Had no issues using swim mesh for the lining. The step by step directions made this an easy and quick make. From printing to cutting to sewing took about an hour to make. I do currently have a sprained wrist so I imagine it would be quicker to put together with 2 good wrist.

These bottoms are a dream fit. The rouching is such a nice detail and really adds a touch of luxury. I also love the back coverage. I’m definitely making these all summer in multiple colors!
I made this bikini bottom immediately & made it too big so it sags a little on the bum but that’s my own fault. I love the style of this bottom. The fit is really flattering & it sews up quick. Will post a pic once I sew the size smaller & I have no gaping. Happy to support 5 buck Friday :)
I loved making these. As a beginner I thought the instructions were solid and my finished product is so cute.
These bottoms are super cute, nice coverage, and I love the reversible finish. I think the sizing runs a little large. I measured in the lower end of size medium but found medium way too big and small still a little loose, especially when wet.

These Blake bottoms came together easily! One mod that I would make is to have the centre front go straight across and not pull down in the middle. They fit like a glove!
Way too big. Too much fabric in the crotch area. Easy to put together, clear instructions. Just not the best fit. Will try again in a smaller size with a few modifications
