First time making swimwear! These are pretty high. I think they are cute but hubby says no. Good butt coverage and comfortable too. I am not in love with the topstitching so looking forward to trying again with a reversible pair.
Just made these yesterday and I love them! I had a little trouble understanding the instructions but after a little trial and error I got it! They’re so cute and fit true to size!
Love the fit of the Gabby bottoms! They fit true to size and I feel so secure wearing them! Very easy to make reversible as well!
These bottoms are a great option for a modest style.
I sew for pole dance and the Gabby bottoms were perfect for going to the studio. I am usually a US size 14, and have a 34 in. waist/ 44 in. hip, and I made them in a size XXL. I had to do some minor adjustments in the gusset to account for anterior pelvic tilt, but they came out so cute, and I got a lot of compliments on them. I think one of my favorite things about Edgewater Ave. patterns is how easy they are to sew up. With the video tutorials and tips, it's pretty accessible for even a newer sewer to figure out what's going on.
